Easy one hour trips can be made to Dijon, home of mustard; pretty Arbois and the Burgundian wine capital Beaune, housing the incredible architecture of Hotel Dieu. Not far away is the impressive Roche de Solutre surrounded by vineyards and stunning panoramic views from its summit plateau (rollover pics).
